The 2021-22 academic year Programme by the Lawyers' Christian Fellowship is 'The Complete Lawyer', based on Paul's letter to the Philippians.
"And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." Philippians 1:6.
Our next seminar in the series will be 'The Discerning Lawyer', May 12 at Westminster Chapel.
Join Howard Satterthwaite (Lead Pastor at Westminster Chapel and former LCF Student and Young Lawyers' Director) for a transformative look at the 'Discerning Lawyer', as we examine the heart and mind of Christ-centred legal work and experience the joy of knowing that everything (everything!) counts for Christ.
6pm onwards: Refreshments and fellowship
6.45pm: Worship, interview with Howard Satterthwaite, talk, breakout groups, prayer
8.15pm: Finish
Afterwards: There are plenty of venues locally should you wish to continue the fellowship.
Discerning. Lawyers are paid to be discerning, understanding what is best for their client, giving good advice and making sound judgements. But in the powerful cultures at play in the legal world - in the office, chambers and court room - how discerning are we really? And why does Paul connect love with discernment?
The event is free to join but please register here and confirm your attendance.
